Here’s a collection of random tech stuff that I posted so I can point people here instead of actually answering their questions. It’s a bit out of date now, and will likely come down in the next revision of the web page.

• Recommended Freeware: Windows freeware that I use and like, with links to download.
• Albany-area Free Wi-Fi: A one-page guide to free wi-fi in the Capital Region of New York (my locale, otherwise known as the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area).
• Using Sony DVF Files: Pointers for converting and otherwise using the slightly annoying DVF files that come from those otherwise nice Sony digital voice recorders.
• PowerPoint in Class: A little idiosycratic primer on the use of PowerPoint, directed at people who use it in college classrooms.
